- As per the OMHA, the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs cannot and will not accept the registration of a player from an Alliance Centre on an F-1 Waiver for the Novice Division. This also applies for Novice GTHL players. The OMHA will not accept an F-1 waiver for a Division that the Alliance or GTHL do not recognize and/or represent (Novice AAA). Therefore, the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs are prohibited from signing any Novice Players who reside in the Hamilton Reps area.
- F-1 players from the 'The Hamilton Reps' will be required to bring to registration and/or their first tryout, a completed 'Ontario Hockey Federation AAA Hockey Waiver' from their Minor Hockey Association to be eligible to tryout for the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.
- Before a Zone player can request an F-1 Waiver from the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs they must pay the registration fee and skate a minimum of two tryout sessions in their appropriate age division. Coaches must then agree to issue the F-1 Waiver to the zone player and must sign a release form. If the Waiver is not granted by the coach, the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs 'F-1 Committee' will make a final decision. Only the President or designate will sign all F-1 waivers.
As per SCTA regulations, no F-1 waivers can be issued prior to April 2012.

Non Zone pass through players can receive their F-1 release from the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs by contacting Clint Cranwell, V.P of Hockey Operations, clintcranwell@hamiltonjrbulldogs.com. Prior to receiving a pass through F-1 waiver, the player must produce a true copy of the Permission to Skate and the original F-1 waiver release from their Home Centre. The player and parents signature will also be required on the pass through F-1 waiver.
- Non-zone players, that have a F-1 waiver from their respective AAA centre will be permitted to tryout in Bantam and Minor Midget. The respective coaches, at their discretion, may keep one (1) non zone player in Bantam and two (2) non zone players in Minor Midget but are not obligated to keep any.
